Who are these trips for?
Our trips are designed for antique dealers, collectors, interior designers, and enthusiastic treasure hunters—but also for anyone who simply loves the charm of the English countryside, and groups of friends looking for a unique vacation. Whether you’re on a mission to stock a shop or just want to wander beautiful villages with locals who know every corner, you’re in the right place.
Buying Trips for Antique Dealers: Buy Big, Buy Smart, Ship with Ease
If you're an antique dealer looking to make the most of your time in the English countryside, this trip is designed with you in mind.
While our experience is relaxed and beautifully curated, we also know how important efficiency and access are when you’re buying for your business. With Jonny and Melissa’s deep local connections and expertise, you’ll gain insider access to trusted dealers, off-the-beaten-path sources, and private appointments that the general public simply can’t reach.
You'll have the opportunity to:
• Visit top-tier trade sources and antique centers known for quality, variety, and fair prices
• Work with on-the-ground experts who can help you spot value, negotiate confidently, and shop smart
• Purchase as little or as much as you like—from smalls to statement pieces
• Use a shared shipping container to safely and affordably transport your finds back to the U.S.
• Enjoy the ease of chauffeured transport, so you can focus on buying instead of logistics
This trip blends the joy of travel with real, productive sourcing—perfect for those looking to balance business and inspiration in one unforgettable week.

Do I need to be an antique expert to join?
Not at all! We welcome everyone—from seasoned pros to curious newcomers. You’ll learn along the way, and our team (including your guides Jonny and Melissa) is there to help with sourcing, spotting quality, and negotiating with local dealers.
What’s included in the trip?
Each trip includes:
• Thoughtfully selected accommodations
• Daily breakfast and several group meals including a welcome dinner and farewell celebration, (think proper British tea!)
• Chauffeured transport throughout the week
• Entry to markets, shops, and private buying appointments
• Guided tours of inspiring homes, gardens, and National Trust properties
• Expert guidance on sourcing antiques
• Group container access for shipping purchases to the U.S.
• Good company, countryside charm, and lots of laughter
What’s not included?
• Airfare and airport transfers
• Personal purchases (antiques, meals outside of those listed, etc.)
• Optional time in London before or after the trip (though we’re happy to help with hotel recommendations)
How does the shipping work?
We offer a shared container for your purchases to be professionally packed and shipped back to the U.S. This makes it easy and stress-free as possible, if you find those must-have pieces. We’ll walk you through the process during the trip.
Do I have to buy anything?
Absolutely not. Some guests come for the joy of the hunt, others for the landscapes, local culture, and charming company. You’ll never be pressured to buy a thing—but you might find it hard to resist!
What’s the group size?
We keep our groups intentionally small—usually between 2 and 6 guests. This allows for a more personal, relaxed experience and ensures everyone gets the attention and access they need.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
To reserve your spot, we require a 25% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the trip. Because our trips are small and often sell out, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
How much walking is involved?
Expect a moderate amount of walking—through villages, markets, and estate gardens. Most of it is leisurely and scenic, but we do recommend comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure!
Can I travel solo?
Of course! Many of our guests come solo, and it’s a wonderful way to connect with like-minded travellers.
Will we have free time?
Yes! While the itinerary is full of fabulous experiences, we build in plenty of downtime to rest, explore on your own, or simply enjoy the view with a cup of tea or a glass of wine.
Where exactly do we go?
Each trip centers around the Cotswolds and surrounding countryside, with day trips to favorite antiques markets, hidden villages, and inspiring historic homes. No two trips are exactly the same—because we tailor each one to the group’s vibe and interests.
